New Relief Society Presidency Sustained

(from left to right) Jennifer Denison, 2nd counselor; Jackie Fischvogt, 1st Counselor;

Tracy Kleinhenz, President; Brenna Young, Secretary

There’s a saying that nothing is as constant as change.  That is especially true as we serve in callings in the church.  We have opportunities to grow as covenant women when we accept new callings, stretch our wings, and move forward with change.  The Columbus 1st Ward is exceptionally blessed to have Jackie Fischvogt and Jennifer Denison recently called to serve in the Relief Society Presidency.   They will add a unique perspective and enthusiasm to our Relief Society.  As we serve together in this presidency, we will strive for unity and to have the blessings of the Lord upon our efforts.  It is the same desire we have for all of the sisters in our ward.
The words of a favorite hymn seem to sum it up:

As sisters in Zion, we all work together;
The blessings of God on our labors we seek.
We’ll build up his kingdom with earnest endeavor;
We’ll comfort the weary and strengthen the weak.

How vast is our purpose, how broad is our mission,
If we but fulfill it in spirit and deed.
Oh, naught but the Spirit's divinest tuition
Can give us the wisdom to truly succeed.

May the Lord bless us all as we serve each other, lift each other and encourage each other.

Tracy
