The commandments are not a rigid set of rules meant to limit
our freedom. Instead, we should view them as blessings that allow us the
opportunity to enjoy the life that we have been given and to become more like
Christ. What would our world be like if we didn’t follow our Saviors example of
service, sacrifice, and forgiveness? Learning to love the commandments is like
learning to dance in the spring rain. It enables us to feel the rejuvenating
